Fred Savage is an American actor, director, and television producer. He starred as “Kevin Arnold” in the ABC series The Wonder Years (1988-93). His filmography includes The Boy Who Could Fly (1986), The Princess Bride (1987), The Wizard (1989), and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). He picked up a Golden Raspberry Award nomination for his first directed film, Daddy Day Camp (2007). Frederick Aaron Savage was born on July 9, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois. CAREER
Prior to leading roles, Savage made his mark doing commercials for radio and television. He did a memorable advertisement for Pac-Man Vitamins at age 6. His early television credits include The Twilight Zone, and ABC Weekend Special: Runaway Ralph. He had a recurring role as “Alan Bishop” in Morningstar/Eveningstar (1986-87). Savage made his film debut in The Boy Who Could Fly (1986) starring Jay Underwood, Lucy Deakins, and Bonnie Bedelia. His supporting role as “Louis Michaelson” earned him a Young Artist Award nomination. Savage followed up with stellar performances in The Princess Bride (1987), Vice Versa (1988), and Runaway Ralph (1988). He picked up a second Young Artist Award nomination for The Wizard (1989).
