Marta Fascina is an Italian politician and the wife of former Prime Minister and wealthy tycoon Silvio Berlusconi, who died on June 12, 2023. Marta Antonia Fascina was born on January 9, 1990, in Melito di Porto Salvo, a town in the southern Italian region of Reggio Calabria. She grew up in Portici, a city in the Naples metropolitan area. Sapienza University in Rome awarded her a degree in Literature and Philosophy.
Fascina worked as a journalist for many publications after finishing her studies, including Il Giornale, a conservative daily owned by Berlusconi’s family.
