Review Anime Figure Kill Bill Vol. 1 Bishoujo Kotobukiya 1/8 Scale Figure

Sculpting- Not the biggest fan of Kotobukiya as a figure manufacturer however I'm a huge fan of there Bishoujo figure line. I love collecting gender swapped figures and at the moment kotobukiya is one of the only manufacturers making them with there horror bishoujo figure line. I still feel the quality of kotobukiya figures could use some improvement because their PVC scale figures still look kinda like prize figures but at lease the price usually reflects that.
Painting- Colors are bright and full of life, Love the coloring of the eyes because it really gives the characters a soul. If I had a complaint it would be in regards to the lack of a color gradient in the hair or skin but honestly most figures lack detailed color.
Posing- Nothing really special but effective none the least. Looks the way I'd expect a girl holding a sword to look. Not bad but nothing special.
Base-Again nothing really new here but it serves it's purpose.
Packaging- If I had to mention something I appreciate about the kotobukiya boxes it's the cut out window at the top of the boxes because it is usually in the shape or design of a icon from the series they represent like a mask or claw mark. The rest of the box is nothing special but serves it's purpose.
Price- Even at 75.00 full price honestly it's easily the best part of the kotobukiya figure line. They might not have the biggest and boldest designs or poses and the quality may be a bit inconsistent at times but the price makes it more than worth a buy.
