Gregory Tovmassian, DPM

Podiatrist Dr. Gregory A. Tovmassian was born in Russia after his parents moved there from Armenia. His family immigrated to Sacramento in the mid-1990s, where Dr. Tovmassian graduated from Mira Loma High School. He received a degree in science prior to being accepted to the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California. After completing the four-year program, he graduated and was accepted to his top choice residency program at Kaiser Santa Clara in California. There received training in foot and ankle surgery with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. After completing his training in 2012, he moved back to the Sacramento area and opened Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center in Fair Oaks, where he enjoys utilizing his knowledge and skills to serve the community he grew up in.

Dr. Tovmassian is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a member of numerous professional associations such as American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA). To further support his profession and local society, he has been serving as a treasurer for the Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medicine Society since 2014. Also, through various local teaching opportunities for Podiatry students and residents, he has served as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor, California School of Podiatric Medicine from Samuel Merritt College since 2012.

Since 2012, he has been a Principal Investigator at the Center for Clinical Research, actively participating in clinical trials in wound care and other foot and ankle related research. He is very involved with his church, where he and his wife serve as directors to organize large summer camps for teenagers.
